Butternut squash ravioli, steamed spinach flavoured with tomato jam, salt and pepper to perk it up a bit, meatless meatballs, and a babybel. Sometimes I wonder about bentos when I’m giving some serious thought to snacking on the babybel, and placing everything into a bowl to mix it up before reheating tomorrow for lunch.
I just can’t face another round of hummus and veggies for snack, so I have greek yogurt with a little lemon-ginger-cayenne preserve for the morning, and a larabar for the afternoon. Keeping it simple, but very, very tasty!

Did you make the ravioli from scratch or is it prepackaged? If it is homemade I’d love to hear how you made them.
It’s prepackaged. I’m not very good with rolling the dough out.
I will have to look for it in the store. Thanks.
Unfortunately, I didn’t make either – both bought locally from independent retailers who did make them on premises.
I never had tomato jam, it sounds good. Did you make it? Also did you make the lemon-ginger-cayenne preserve?
do you have a beginners guide to bento or somewhere you can point me? your lunches always look so pretty!
I have a ‘how do I get started with bento’ page – on the black bar of the blog.
perfect…i will check it out. thx.
Looks really good – and I like your little friend who’s sitting in the middle of your spinach! Why didn’t I buy spinach yesterday???
Go buy some today!
