Sep 10, 2012: snack bento

I am getting lunch brought in during a day-long meeting/training session tomorrow.  However, some epic noms to get me through the morning would probably be a good idea, so here they are.  Dried blueberries, almonds, rice crackers, and cheese will be perfect.  One little nori smile just to show off ever so slightly.  I know it’s wonky, but I didn’t realize how wonky until after I took the picture and put the bento in the fridge…

  1. such great lunch and snack ideas! I love how you use the little containers and silicone cupcake liners to keep things separate inside the bigger container! I’m totally going to do that 🙂

  2. I love the little nori smile! 😀 You have made me realise I’ve never eaten dried blueberries as a snack! I always put them in something. I think I might have to give them a go in a bento soon 🙂

    • Because of their size, they fill a mini food cup really nicely, and their colour contrast is so pretty too. I keep meaning to make white chocolate chip and blueberry cookies, but it just hasn’t happened – too many cupcakes!

Tell us veggie bento lovers what you think!
