I made a pasta bake last night. I was planning on lasagna, but forgot to pick up the actual lasagna to make it, so I just cooked some smaller pasta and made a pasta bake. I sauteed a bunch of veggies (onion, celery, pepper, butternut squash, and some spinach), added a couple of cans of tomato sauce, mixed that up with the pasta, made a cheese sauce to go on top, and baked in the oven until bubbly. The hardest part was waiting for it to cool down.
Being that there’s protein, veggies, and carbs all in one entree, visually it’s a bit boring, but I only need this and a couple orange segments for dessert and I have a complete bento. Go me!
