Fried rice, tamagoyaki, and barbecue tofu

The lovely Maki of is hosting a bento course: the most recent assignment is to pack a bento tightly. I tried to do just that with this bento. On the left, is ‘fried’ rice with onion and baby Asian cabbage, and on the right is 1-egg’s worth of Tamagoyaki, some tofu baked in barbecue sauce, and sliced cucumbers sprinkled with sesame seeds. I managed to fit some tiny grape tomatoes in the middle too, which I’m glad of, as the bento was rather monochrome before!
