I will be so happy when there’s natural light to take pictures of bentos with. Food looks so surreal with the artificial light+camera flash combo that’s the norm right now.
Gardein 7-grain strips with sticky rice, corn, broccoli (steamed, then tossed with mirin, soy, and a little sesame oil before being given some sesame seed love), a pickled beet and hot pickled pepper. I’m planning on edamame for snack, and there’s Thai ginger salt for the soybeans in the chick container. I don’t need an afternoon snack because I have a meeting with appies right after school tomorrow.
You know what? I really regret that I don’t have to be at campus that much this year (or I am back home for lunch and dinner…), cause I just don’t make those fun bentos anymore! =(
